Built for the real economy

We’re a team of operators, engineers, and designers who spent the last decade building software for some of the largest companies in the world. We started The Automation Company because the technology we shipped at those companies never reached the businesses we cared about most.

A letter from the founder

Why we built The Automation Company.

spent the last decade building software inside the largest technology companies in the world. I watched AI go from a research demo to the operating system of modern enterprise. I've seen it running supply chains, powering military operations, drafting emails for executives, deciding which ads you see, and which customers get a callback first. It was breathtaking but also lopsided.

Every time I went home, the businesses I cared about most were running on duct tape. The family accountant that became family to us. The insurance agent my dad still calls. The dental practice my mom has gone to for twenty years. They were stitching their operations together out of spreadsheets, pen and paper, and three different tools.

The disconnect haunted me. The same technology that was quietly compounding inside trillion-dollar companies wasn’t reaching the people who keep the economy moving. These are the businesses that hire our neighbors, serve our families, and pay the taxes that build our roads. It wasn't because they didn’t want it. It's because it was never built for them.

The best technology in the world was being built for the businesses that needed it least.

So I called a few people I’d worked with at some of the largest companies in the world including: Meta, Amazon, Google, Robinhood, and Anduril. These are the engineers I trusted most, the ones who knew how to build systems that don’t break at 2 a.m. and asked them to come build for the other side of the economy.

The Automation Company is what we’re bringing to the world. We deliver enterprise-grade AI, workflow orchestration, and business operations to the businesses that hold the economy together. We embed with their teams, do the work, and carry the operational risk so they can run with the same speed and quality as the most advanced companies in the world.

We’ve partnered with more than a hundred businesses so far, across professional services, construction, manufacturing, and retail. We work with plumbing shops and dental practices, boutique hotels and restaurants, salons, law firms, and a dozen niches you wouldn’t expect. Every week, another owner tells us the same thing: “I didn’t know any of this was possible for a business like mine.” That’s exactly the gap we’re here to close.

If you run one of those businesses — if you’re the person who locks up at night and worries about payroll on Sunday — I’d love to meet you. The pilot is thirty days, the scope is written in plain English, and the price is fixed before the work starts.

We’re not here to sell you software. We’re here to make your business run beautifully for a long time.

How we work — four values

Outcomes, not optics

We measure ourselves in hours saved, costs cut, leads captured, and revenue moved. We deploy and measure the results.

Speed and quality

Faster turnaround, better output. We compress cycles without sacrificing the standard the work has to clear.

On the operator's side

We sit next to the people doing the work. Every decision starts with one question: does this make their day better?

Built to be trusted

Your data stays yours. Every automation we ship is auditable, reversible, and explained in plain English.

Our mission

Bringing AI to the real economy.

A new era of automation is rewriting how the world operates and we exist to make sure no one gets left behind. Three commitments anchor everything we do.

01

Bring the best to the real economy.

The AI that runs the world's largest enterprises should run the local accounting firm on the corner. We close that gap.

02

Carry the risk so they don't have to.

Every engagement starts with a scoped pilot, predictable pricing, and a measurable outcome before any longer commitment.

03

Compound, quarter after quarter.

We're not a project; we're a long-term operating partner. The leverage we build in month one keeps paying back in year three.
